THE BIG: Pop Pop is this tiny little restaurant tucked away in the shopping center with Asian Food Center. Great Thai food for those looking for some great southeast asian cuisine.
THE BLACK AND WHITE: I was feeling a little hungry and ordered what seemed right from my eyes point of view compared to my stomach. I ordered the papaya salad (thai original) and the braised pork rice.
Heads up they have three versions of papaya salad, I got the original and damn was it tasty. I'm curious about the crab meat one, gonna get that one next time!
The braised pork rice came out a few minutes after the papaya salad and it did not disappoint. It had pickled veggies, a few leaves of bok choy, and the luscious fatty braised pork *drool*. I swear every bite was heaven in my mouth.
I do plan to be back to try the Khao Soi! Something I miss from when I was in Chiang Mai.
THE FINAL BAMBOO: Ultimately the damage done was $19.98 for the papaya salad and the braised pork rice. The food did remind me of Thailand and definitely plan to be back soon! -

Jumped in for a quick lunch. I got the Penang curry with vegetables. Was very happy with it. They used large chunks of broccoli, carrot, onion and others. Much better than the small pieces most other restaurants provide.
The curry was rich and tasty. Rice was cooked well also (but this should be a given, right?).
My colleague had the Tom Kha soup with shrimp and he was pleased as well.
Based on other ratings I would recommend this as a quick lunch spot for sure. -

Certainly the best Thai food I've had in the Seattle area, and if I was situated anywhere near Shoreline I would definitely eat here everyday.
The (grilled?) chicken was probably the most perfectly cooked chicken I've ever had! Paired with the sauces, it can do no wrong.
As a papaya salad enthusiast, I was not disappointed. I recommend the crab one!
Kasoy was super flavorful and not something I would typically order but I was very pleasantly surprised. Lots of different textures of noodles in a creamy broth. -

I'm a frequent customer of Pop Pop. The food is fantastic, and the service is impeccable. Seriously, they are the nicest people, and I know some people will think this is very important: my glass of water never falls below 70% full.
I've had:
+pork spring rolls (addictive, crispy, divine plum sauce)
+panang curry (with chicken; my go-to order)
+yellow curry
+pop pop fried rice (massive)
+pad se ew
It's hard to stray from the menu items I've come to know and love, but I'd bet good money that you can't go wrong with any order. There's an off-the-menu specials board by the counter, be sure to check it out! It's also a breeze to order carryout online. LOVE this place. -

Wow, I haven't had Thai food this good in awhile. I ordered delivery through Caviar, and placed an order for a pork Pad See Ew, a chicken Pop Pop Fried Rice, and a side of rice.
The Pad See Ew was okay. It was your standard Pad See Ew. It was good, but nothing memorable for me. The pork was over cooked in my opinion, so it was dry and chewy. I was surprised that they didn't have beef as an option for their Pad See Ew and fried rice dish. I've had better Pad See Ew elsewhere, therefore I had to knock down a star for the dry pork.
I ordered both dishes in their mild-medium option, and boy did I regret it. Most Thai places rank their spice system 1-5. I guess that Pop Pop ranks theirs no heat, mild, mild-medium, medium, etc. so that it's easier to explain when ordering through a delivery service. When I order from most Thai places, I usually go with 2 stars. I find that sometimes it still doesn't taste spicy at all, so I decided to be bold and go mild-medium. It was extremely spicy for me, and I had to catch my breath after every bite. It made the food less enjoyable for me, but I only have myself to blame for that. Lol. I don't like my food overly spicy, so you might not think that their mild-medium level is spicy. To each their own!
The Pop Pop Fried Rice was phenomenal, and that's why this place is getting 4 stars from me. It was flavorful, and hands down the best Thai fried rice I've ever had. Considering their portion sizes and flavor, their prices are extremely reasonable. Each entree was priced at $9.95 on Caviar. I've seen other restaurants charge more for less portions, and lower quality food.
Overall, I would for sure order from Pop Pop again. The Pop Pop Fried Rice is a MUST TRY if you ever dine in or order takeout!
